Certified Scrum Trainer (CST)
Opens 2020 Jan 31 00:00 (MST)
Description

Please note we are no longer accepting CST-R Japan applications.

Certified Scrum Trainers (CSTs) play a vital role within Scrum Alliance. CSTs represent guide-level expertise in both Scrum/agile knowledge and training skills.  Stringent certification requirements are imposed on prospective CSTs to make certain that only those who are fully qualified to meet this commitment are entrusted to provide services as designated by the Certified Scrum Trainer® credential.

You may apply for CST as a Scrum Master (via CSM path, submitting SM experience and CSM materials) or via Product Owner (via CSPO path, submitting PO experience and CSPO materials).  Please see details regarding all requirements on our website.

You must hold an active CSP-SM or CSP-PO certification (depending on application path), and meet ALL the CST prerequisites listed here.  PLEASE read all the CST guidelines on the Scrum Alliance website before proceeding.

**Note, please submit your application using the Scrum Guide version and learning objectives version(s) that are effective at the time of your application submission.  All applications (including re-applications after deferral) received after 1 May 2022 MUST align with the 2022 Scrum Alliance learning objectives.

Please do not submit your application until all your documentation is attached and your application is complete.  You cannot attach additional documents to your application after it has been submitted.  Please wait to submit until you are fully ready for review, meaning you are finished iterating on your application and have a fully completed application. We recommend that you submit when you are fully ready, rather than rush to make a certain deadline.

Scrum Alliance General Application Appeal Process can be found here.
